Tom Spade, Vice President of Global Sales

Tom Spade is a seasoned sales leader who has worked extensively in PC and handheld markets, specifically with MP3 and mobile phones.  He is responsible for managing Boston-Power’s global sales efforts in the portable power market.  Most recently, Mr. Spade was the Vice President of Global Sales for Validity, where he quickly grew revenue from $1M to over $10M with wins at major OEMs in both consumer and enterprise markets.  His extensive experience includes serving as Vice President of Worldwide Sales for nine years at Synaptics, Inc., which grew from $25M pre-IPO to over $300 million in annual revenues under his sales leadership.  His background includes senior sales roles at Alliance Semiconductor, Anthem Electronics, Arrow Electronics, and Anderson Consulting.   He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management from Albion College.
