For portable power applications, the ability of our cells to rapidly recharge allows us to offer industry-leading fast charge capability. Specifically, our cells can be recharged to 80% capacity in 30 minutes, (or 40% in 10 minutes), by accepting higher charge rates of up to 2C -- over 50% faster than conventional lithium-ion cells. Combining fast charge with long cycle life for portable power applications like notebook PCs provides significant user mobility, convenience and value.

Transportation applications will further increase the need for high rates of charging, which will have implications for the charging infrastructure of the future.
