Pioneer in Lithium-Ion Batteries and Energy Storage to Join Business Leaders from Around the Globe to Discuss Driving Growth through Sustainability

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. – September 8, 2010 – Boston-Power® Founder and CEO Dr. Christina Lampe-Önnerud, a 2010 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer, will join business and thought-leaders from around the world at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions – “Summer  Davos,” to be held September 13-15 in Tianjin, China.

“Powering Efficient Growth”

  • Summary: Investments in energy efficiency could provide an estimated 35 percent of the reductions required to achieve emission goals by 2020. This interactive session will discuss the most promising technologies and business models for making production, distribution and consumption of energy more efficient.

  • Summary: This IdeasLab session featuring Technology Pioneers will look closely at green solutions, including fuel cells, next-generation lithium-ion batteries, eco-friendly materials, and more.
