Fred Pourmehr, Vice President of Quality

Fred Pourmehr’s primary responsibilities include overseeing Boston-Power's worldwide factory locations and providing statistical training support for the company's operations. He brings more than 25 years of quality and manufacturing engineering experience, most recently at C-Tech International.  In that role, he managed a cooperation that enabled key Chinese suppliers to be awarded contracts by major American corporations.  He spent more than 20 years at Motorola, most recently as the Senior Global Supplier Quality Manager in the Energy Systems Group. Through the application of Six Sigma tools, he improved Motorola's supplier performance annually for suppliers located in Japan, Brazil, Mexico, China, and Europe.   Mr. Pourmehr is a certified Motorola Six Sigma Black Belt and ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.  He earned a Post-Graduate Degree from Vrije University of Brussels, Belgium, a BS in Engineering from Penn State University, State College, PA, and a BA in Mathematics and Applied Science, from Edinboro University, Edinboro, PA.
